Our 2012 New Year’s Resolution: Let’s Make it to a MILLION

There is no doubt how powerful 2011 was for the success of Run of Hope Seattle and our contributions to pediatric brain tumor research. The Seattle community has opened their arms and welcomed our cause into their lives – bringing change to the future of  childhood cancer.

Make it to a MILLION - Run of Hope Seattle 2012

From countless and courageous fundraising efforts, supporters have continued to warm our hearts and lift our spirits. For our families with children undergoing chemo, in remission or to those who have regrettably lost a loved one – we want to send you strength, endurance, bravery and resolution for the year ahead.

Since our inaugural fundraiser in 2009 we have managed to raise thousands beyond expectation.  Join us in 2012 to help us send a million dollars, cumulative, to Dr. Olson at Seattle Children’s Hospital for his profound brain tumor research.

Starting in the spring we will have our 2012 donation pages accessible but will continue to update you on local fundraising efforts in support of the cause.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2011 Check Presentation to Dr Olson for Seattle Children’s Research

We did it! We surpassed our goal of raising $250,000 for pediatric brain tumor research, and instead raised $270,000!! We have an enormous amount of gratitude towards our committee members, volunteers, sponsors and donors who made this possible. Since 2009, the Run of Hope Seattle has raised over $800,000 for Seattle Children’s Hospital Research. From a simple  run to a walk, a bake sale to a garage sale, a BBQ or even homemade crafts — our participants poured their heart into one word: HOPE.  May our children have plenty of it for years to come…
